Are you sure you mean final drive ratio? Final drive is the overall gearing in top gear. That means that a 3. 55 diff and . 73 OD= 2. 59 final drive... .



or do you just mean axle (diff) ratio?
 
Yeah, the final, like if you pulled in second in the transmission and low in the t-case it would be second gear ratio x the t case ratio x the rear end ratio. On gas pullers most of them are somewhere between 23 to 1, to, 27 to 1, and I kinda figured with the major rpm difference between a diesel and a gasser the diesel would need to be around 15 to 1, but I wanted some others opinions.
 
Depends a lot on how much power you're talking about. Scheid's truck is probably in the 10 or 11 to 1 range (this is a guess - I'm not certain what gears Kent runs). Stock guys are probably at least twice that, depending on clutch capacity and rearend ratio.
