Do you think then 3. 07's and a getrag would work then running an average speed of 65-70 mph?

What is yor rear ratio? Also I don't see a single thing wrong with driving 100MPH ALL the time! :D ;) :p Oo.

P. S. If it helps, maybe just a wittle to much #2. ;)

I guessing here...

I think I turn 2000 at 70 in 5th with 3. 54s. I think I turn 2700 at 70 in 4th. I say I think because I don't know how accurate my tach is. If you drop the rear end to 3. 07s that is about a 1/7th or 14% drop in rpms in 4th so... . lets say you come in at about 400rpm lower or 2300 at 70 in 4th with 3. 07s assuming the tires stay are the same as mine. Mine are just a touch larger than stock. Someone check my math - I did this in my head so it might be way off.

3. 07 not worth the effort in later models,

definatly not in 4x4, unless they are next to free.

change tire size in effect does the same thing, and you will need new tires at some point, LOL

BTW 1 st in nv5600 and nv4500 is not used daily at all gearing is just too much. buddy is nv5600 and 40 inch tires, 3. 54, and just on the edge of having to use 1st to start.
