Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) finally got 20.7 MPG on trip with 4.10's

truck now has 13k miles and I have been trying to brake the 20 MPG barrier, it helped that I had some Non Calif. diesel fuel. also hit 100 MPH while passing on 2 lane road, now I have a check engine light on. Will have to check it later. Is it true that after 5 starts that if problem is gone that the MIL light will go away?

Seriously 20mpg from 4. 10s is doing pretty good, I never broke 20 with the QC longbed 4x4 I had (98 24 valve) even on tanks I didn't do 100 on (had 3. 54 gears).



This truck, if I get less than 20 I think something is seriously wrong (usually get 21-22 highway).
