Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) finally got a comp!!!

man I must say going from the EZ to the comp is awesome, I still have the stock trans and it has been great so far. I leav eit on 5X5. and is it true that edge will upgrade to race comp for free for members?

It used to cost $125. 00 for Drag Comp upgrade. I don't know what the cost is now. Thanks Steve B.

Do you have gages? Didn't see them in your signature. You NEED fuel pressure. I am on my 5th VP44, I know.

The free upgrade for TDR members is on the 98. 5-02 juice w/attitude. Which there is a group buy going on now till the 17th.

ooohh, ok, so looks like Im paying. yes I installed a fuel pressure gauge the day before the comp, and low and behold no fuel pressure, and dodge just did a vp! anyway 7-8 psi WOT on 5X5. Im selling my car which will fund a trans and injectors and turbo. it was weird though that from the first setting to 5 I diddnt really notice untill I pulle dout in traffic and man it really does go good!

It will be funnier when you add more things like injectors trans turbo, then drive a truck with just a comp and say " wow this truck is slow"

haha well cant wait for that day, lol. because hopefully it will be 155 hp injectors a super b and a nice trans, I think that will keep me happy for a few weeks.

hey I have heard that leaving your box turned up all the way will burn up your vp. I heard it robs return fuel from the pump and that will cause your pump to not cool off. I'm not sure about that but it is worth checking out. I just got my comp upgraded to a drag for 125. a big difference in the two WOW.

yeah? well Im still 6-7 psi wide open, that means that the vp is not wirking to get its fuel. It will have a pusher pump very soon, Im going to Florida and need the money, bt when I get back it will get one.
