Finally got a PSD to play!!

Tonight I finally got a stroke lined up at a light. He had gauges, bigger exhaust, and was an auto transmission. That's all I can confirm.



It wasn't enough for the old Dodge though, 6 speed and all.



This is the first time anybody's tried anything with me, it was awesome to shut them down so easily.

Mine got a PSD, I wasn't driving.

I let a guy drive my truck yesterday to see how the transmission feels. I had told him that you better be pointed where you want to go when you step on it ... ... ... . When he got back (I did not go along ) he said that he called his boss's daughter with her 120HP chipped ford and they raced. The ford got a "foot into it" headstart and then he said he went by her like it wasn't even a race.



We were discussing the way it ran with the boss, and he seemed surprised that the ford lost. The driver of mine said that maybe he should go out and look for the ford laying out in the weeds somewhere. Something about smoke and hard to see... ... ...



Wish I had been in the truck when it happened.

Atta boy shows those strokers a thing or two. Can't wait until I get the SBC, 191 delivery valves, and 370's installed and then it's stroker and maxipad hunting time for me. All us Colorado boys will have to get together for some group hunting

I hope that aint smoke from those injectors that tend to let go on the Maxi Could end up costing more than that transmission as I am sure you are aware of :{ .

What those self honing Bosch injectors GM gave us with the stout OE fuel filter,them ??



I dunno on the transmission it's running a close neck and neck ... .

Need to get her bolted back up Monday just got it back from Sun Coast with C1 built to the hilt (I roasted the first one) with16 single sided Stainless frictions and billet piston ... .

I had a DMax play with me a couple weeks ago. He got a jump on me but I was able to reel him in by 60. He was pretty healthy. He had the Allison and I rowed my 6-speed. I was 4x2 going against his 4x4 but I had a 55-gallon drum 2/3 full of oil and a bunch of other rather heavy junk in the bed; he was light.

Nope, It was an extra cab short bed with a topper. 4x4, and I think it was black though.



If I had a better clutch, I could launch in 4x4 in third gear. That would probably even up the auto's launch capability. With this little run, I started in second and didn't even abuse the clutch like the time I got the jump on Jeff . That time I jumped out way ahead and then thought 5th was 3rd gear and totally hurt the turbo's feelings.



The other night with the PSD, I was shifting like a pro. I guess the pressure was on not to embarrass the cummins.

That was fun wasnt it Matt. I have to say I got a little nervous when the truck broke loose at that light, I think the car next to me was more nervous, the bed came darn close to his front bumper!



Dont worry Matt, that was the ONLY time you'll get the jump on me.

Matt, you need more air, buddy! When i drove your truck, it felt like the extra fuel was keeping things a little soggy. Would you agree that our trucks felt REALLY close in SOP power, even though i have way less fuel?

I am near my air limit with the EZ and 2s. You have a comp and 3s!



Anyway, a PMAX comp should fix my chronic clutch holding problem and my chronic clear exhaust problem!





Justin wants a B1 for Christmas!
