Did Ford ever put Cummins engines in their trucks?

Heck no, that wind must be getting to you up there in Wyoming:rolleyes: Dude, your truck doesn't even hint at making any smoke, you're not running out of air.

Come down Saturday, we can line them up and maybe even hit the dyno.

Oooo, did someone say race or dyno runs???? Im in!! Oo. Oo. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to snort a little water and methanol thru the big white beast by Saturday Oo. Oo.

Matt I havent got to drive your truck yet but everytime I've ridden in it I :D It would be very interesting to see where "the locals" are now at on the dyno

The key to keeping it hauling is not going to high over 2700 where it cuts the fuel back. Just because it revs to 3600 doesn't mean it's making any power up there. I proved that on a test drive with a drag comp on my truck. You can certainly feel it pull longer.

Yeah, hopefully we'll be dousing our engines with a little meth come Saturday, eh, Jeff:D

I'm gonna see about having Kurt at the dyno. I think that will push him over the edge and he'll get after building up some twins.

That would be sweet to have Kurt there. That outta turn him completely to the "dark side" :D Twins... . muhhaaaa muhhaaa Me wants the precious.

Ok I am really loosing it, I'll go now.

You can keep your Isuzu I wonder why they didn't put Isuzu on the door the way Dodge puts Cummins on the door they would probably sell less trucks. Ford does the same thing to they all have to come up with these names why not use International probably the same reason they would sell less trucks.

You can keep your Isuzu I wonder why they don't put that on the door they had to think up a name like Duramax or Powerstroke why not just put Isuzu ,International like Dodge puts Cummins it must not invoke the same images in our minds. They probably would sell less trucks I mean can you image every time you got in your truck you see Isuzu or International on your door now that scares me.

You can keep your Isuzu I was wondering why they had to come up with these fancy names to call there motors why not just put Isuzu on the door or International They had to come up with Duramax and Powerstroke. Like Dodge has Cummins on the door. I guess it sells more trucks I mean can you imagine getting in your truck ervery day and seeing Isuzu or International on the door now that would scare me.

You really feel like your truck was that much stronger? Yeah, my truck has a smoke definiciency. I don't think it will go away until the PMAX comp goes in.

I am game for a race. Especially if you let me race you before you get your new clutch:) Then, I would at least have a chance.

I know you have way more fuel than I do, but I suspect our trucks are pretty close in go. At least before you got hooked on Meth and all that other fun:).

I now run with my EZ set to come in @ 3psi. I can finally get a little smoke at launch, but not much. It's nice to not have to wait for the fuel to come in when that rare chance comes to smoke an inferior v-8 diesel.

That's one of the reasons for the PMAX desire-- I HATE having to pop the hood to adjust or turn on-off. I am still pretty sure I won't stack the two.

I got 21mpg comign back from ND-- there's still straight #2 available up there, so he truck was liking that a bunch.

Isuzu build on hell of an engine. however this creation had more to do with GM than Isuzu. GM gave the specs and told Isuzu to make it work. i think the lly is going to be an awsome engine. and when the 6L goes to common rail you will have another awsome engine. but the lb7 and heui 6L are shti. But the way i see it Inline is the only way to go. One of the main reasons inline is the best is b/c of lower emision capabilities.
