Rick Hansen, I know what you mean about the clutch pedal angle... with the arthritis problems in my left foot, it gets painful at times. The Donnelly Re-Engineered Sachs doesn't give you all that much more force against the pedal, than stock, and it lets off on the pressure about part-way down, kind of like the let-off on a compound bow. I like David VT's description, that one's accurate, too ! #ad

Modified is modified, just like it says. There are consequences to modifying things. I live with it, because the benefits outweigh the negatives. It's definitely not a hard clutch to live with.
 
David and Briar,

You guys may want to try installing the same slave cylinder I did. The pedal effort is now way softer than stock! It also engages at about half travel,and is way easier to control 2nd gear chatter.
