:-{} I just bought a black 97 12 valve 4x4 5 speed manual long bed ex-cab! It looks good but not a show truck. I also have a 99 sport 24 valve auto with twins and all but I just wanted to see what all the talk is with this combo (lol) I think I am going to start with the trans and clutch before I build the engine up. I would like to know who's makes an clutch that would hold 800 to 1000 hp when sprayed. I also want to keep it on the street as much as I can and looking to do some sled pulling to. :D

So what is it with these 12 valve ? (lol) :-laf

Can you really make power out of these 12 valves :D Hell thats 12 valves less than a 24  Well iI have to wait 5 days till I get to pick it up :{ The truck I am getting is on ebay (item # 4641435309) I sent him the money already and I hope it's in good shape as he says.

your in a whole new breed of bombing my friend, granted the same things need to be done to each motor to get the same result, more fuel more air, and with the 12v motor and properly setup pump, you can get insane amounts of fuel. if you sled pulling, def. 4k springs, and vavle springs, fire fring the head and get alot of air through that motor. youll be very happy with the 12v motor.

Looks like the auction is still active

By the way, I think the question is, compared to a 12V, can you really make any power out of a 24v? :-laf
