Well, after 11 long days sitting in a dealer lot, waiting for my number to come up, I finally got my truck back today. And contrary to a previous post, the part replaced was the pilot bearing in the clutch assembly. Originally the dealer told me that it was going to be an entire slave assembly that was bad.
So far so good, I picked her up tonight and all seems to be better. While at the dealer I had them do the re-flash for smoke, MPG, and trip computer. BOB4X4 did the reflash and test drove the truck afterwards. He reported a little better responsiveness, and preliminary better numbers on the trip computer for mileage. I am pulling the fiver tomorrow for a short trip and will be curious to see if the MPG is at all improved. I just towed for 4500 miles on vacation, so I have something to compare it to. I am also curious to see if the flash will effect the EGT's at all. I'll update on Sat when I get back... ... Sarge
