Well after almost 3 months of having the kit at home I was finally able to find some time to get it installed. My first reaction is that Sean's setup is simply awesome. The truck really handles a lot better, for lack of a better description it feels a lot tighter, like you were driving a sports car, but when the bumps come it just sucks them up. The best part for me is how the truck handles the washboard. I live on an acreage and have to drive poorly and/or un-maintained roads every day that always suffer from pretty bad washboarding. With the stock setup you weren't always sure the truck would stop when approaching an intersection (i. e. wheels hopping across the top of the washboard), with Sean's setup it really gives you a confident feeling, you can pile on the brakes pretty good on the washboard and actually get stopped and you accelerate away again without the rear end skipping all over the place. So far I am very happy.

It will be another couple of weeks before I really get to stretch its legs offroad, but I will chime in again with some pics of the truck and my impressions of some vigorous off roading. Spring bear hunting season is about to start and I will be doing hundreds of miles on some of Alberta's worst logging and oil lease roads to get to where we hunt. I believe Kent refers to it as "Baha North". Last year the ruts in the road were so deep I had to winch a stock Ford F350 that was sitting in the midde of the road with all 4 tires off of the ground.

BTW here are a few shots from Sean's website, his kit has really come together. Also check out the adjustable Fox shocks, very cool.

I know what you mean about the "Baja North" The frost heaves can be brutal on a rig. I am VERY happy with my suspension as well. Not meaning to hijack.

Variable Dampening!

That knob on the reservior for varying the dampening looks like a great tool for the owner to adjust his system to fit his needs better. More options for the purchaser. Great idea! Good going,Sean!
