Finally got my Optix Gauges in!

Nothing hard about putting them in, just had to wait for the weather to warm up!

Here's a pic of my install:

I like the look of the Optix gauges, and the lighting at night is nice (when I figure out how to turn the flash off I'll get a night shot). Only thing that might be a problem is the gauge mounting brackets.



I couldn't get them to work on the steering wheel mount, but it worked fine on the A-pillar. The gauges fit pretty tight into the dual pod mount, and I don't think they'll fall out.

I think this is the setup I will likely go with as I would like to keep the grab handle on the a-pillar too. look good.

Hey, I like it!! Three gauges, and still keeping the grab handle! How is the view of the speedo and tach? Do the steering wheel gauges block the view any? Of the odometer? Eric
 
With the steering wheel down in driving position, I just have to adjust my gaze to see the gear selector and odometer. No different than looking past the steering wheel to see the speedometer.
