Congrats HO. Picked mine up on Wednesday. Haven't even had a chance to drive it much, but I've pretty much been like this:

:D Oo. since.

Well, she is now in her new home. The 600 is quieter, but still sounds better than a gasser. Don't know how the interior smells or the exhaust. Had surgery a couple days ago and right now can not smell or taste a thing.

Smooth. Elegant. What a truck. Guess I need to change my sig. NOT ON ORDER ANYMORE. YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!.

SWEXLIN: I know you have been waiting a lot longer than me. I may be old enough my wants won't kill me, but boy waiting sure can, huh!!!!

Congrats

Did yours go by train to Winston Salem? Mine was also ordered 12/30 and finally has been loaded on the truck to go to dealer.

Enjoy the new ride.

And I would still be waiting. This isn't the truck I ordered. I found it through a tip from a fellow member here. The truck I ORDERED is STILL sitting in Baltimore. Dealer has made no effort to get it here, nor will even keep me informed. So, he lost my business.

Today, I called my salesman at the dealer (for the order I am cancelling) and got his phone mail. I left a message stating that I would be in tomorrow, and to have his accounting department draw me up a refund check for my $500. 00 deposit. I stated that I have not heard back from anyone, and this was COMPLETLY unacceptable, and I am cancelling my order, and will not be purchasing a truck from them.

Now, mind you, this is the same guy who won't ever return a call. Within 1 HOUR, he calls back. I purposely didn't answer my phone here at work, as I didn't even WANT to talk to him. He left a rambling message that he is talking to management, he's sorry he hasn't called me back (busy and all) and, while I can get my money back and cancel, to PLEASE call him first. Now he sees he's lost his sale.

Too late. I have a new truck, which I love, and they had their chance - several chances in fact to make their sale final. I'm not even going to bother calling him back. Just going in tomorrow to pick up my check.

Swexlin!!

Congrats!!! You are SOOOO right--- when you are going to plop down 35 to 40 K SOMEONE better do more than punch a few keys and take your deposit !

I picked mine up last Monday and have been busy as a one armed paper hanger ever since---

Boards off the03 and on the 325/600--

Swapped the 265's for 285 BFG all terrian Five for Five( the spare in 265 is useless w/ antispin and 4x4)

Swapped the RB4 for an RB1 ( had to swap the GPS receiver also-- the RB4 had a square plug in from the receiver-- RB1 had a round one-- taking out the receiver w/ shielded cable had us thinking it might have been easier to pull the engine! The receiver is located under the first piece of trim @ the windshield-- no problem, BUT getting the coax out was another story!!! Seems that HOZAY, down in Saltillo, REALLY enjoyed using clamps and Elec tape during the routing--- oh, well, got it done)

As far as my NEW 325/600, 3500 SRW, 6'3", DEE, 2BH/with NAV, Graphite (PDR), rebadged tail gate, and painted ( perfect match)

ARE (Z) goes, this truck is QUIET and sneaky quick!!! It really performs when I short shift second and third ( 22/2400 RPM'S and then let it rock in fourth & Fifth--- The first 200 miles were by the Book, 16/1800 RPM'S in high gear-- Started letting it taste SOME boost @ 275/300 miles. Towing to begin after 500 ( 3K), then to 5K @ appox. 750 to 1000 miles. Heavy stuff comes @ 2000 miles. I'm giving you this info because I've "awakened" four CTD's prior to the 04. 5. Had to change an injector on the 03 and did the TSB on the clutch. Other than that I've never had to put a wrench on ANY of them!

This is Dodge's FINEST yet! AND it is stealthy!!!

One other observation-- HOZAY'S brother EMILLEO, taped the pin connector for the pre wired elec brake controller Northwest of the big connector for the large wiring harness--- taped off like the "mummy"-- why on EARTH they didn't hang the sucker through the cut out in the dash framing is beyond me!!! Took one half hour, with left hand to get mine out!

If you, or any others on this board get close to Hogback Mtn,SC, send a PM-- We'll talk about CTD'S!

Regards,

JAH

When you go to get your check be sure and drive your NEW truck and park ir right by the building!!!

That would be fun, I admit, but I am specifically NOT going to do that. I'll take the Neon. I don't want to give the management ANY excuse to deny it - like saying I broke the contract by buying another truck elsewhere.

Maybe AFTER the check clears... ... :D

Went from Saltillo to St. Louis. Sat on the railcar for a couple days waiting for movement into unload yard. Then waited another 4 or 5 days to be loaded on transport and was logged leaving the yard. Then took another 3 days to go what would be a 10 hour drive. Original order date 1-30-04. Picked up 4-2-04. I would have liked it to be shorter than that, but would rather have a good truck and wait a little longer.
