That looks great. If you could beat these from Summit and others (you're already half way there with the fit/location), you could have a market.

the one i did fits perfect, I am thinking of selling them for 79$ if I have a market, the thing is with the other ones is that the hose size is too small and you have to modify it anyway. this should take 10 minutes to install. I may do some nice aluminum ones with an fittings and modify the front cover breather to have an an fitting on it. well see if anyone wants one

Very cool, but my only complaint would be draining it... is it hard to reach the valve? Granted, in that location, might never get alot of oil in there anyway.

Has anyone dumped this tube into the exhaust with a check valve? Makes sense to me that it should be vented post turbo with a valve that only allows the crank to vent into the exhaust and not let exhaust into the engine. Make sense? I would rather it did that, as once and a while I can smell the fumes from the crank vent in the cab, and its anoying. (extended hose to driveside frame rail)

I had two other ideas. one was using a different style breather with a nipple on it to extend the hose. then let the hose hang down, at that point is should be pretty clean and not drip oil. the other was to run the hose into the exhaust, like you said, with an e-vac set up like morosso sells with the catch can. I can make them either way as well. the only problem is running it to the exhaust as there only seems to be one good place for the can and the exhaust is on the other side

looks nice and clean. I spent the big$$$$ and went with a Walker airsep. There are some so so pics of it in my readers rigs if anyone wants to see it.

I reallly want an airsep. but I cant stand to bite that bullet.

and yes they will basically be bolt in and run your hose, done. 10 minute install if yo take your time

what does this replace? i have neglected the 02 (reading on here wise) i read a lot on the first gen pages b/c of my project.

anyway what does this replace why does it need to be done ... ... ... ... . if i can read about it somewhere else if someone could kindly point me there i would appreciate it.

the later model 2nd gen trucks had a catch can for the crankcase breather, if you dont empty then the fan pulls the oil out and eventually plugs the radiator. the earlier ones have just a tube. this keeps from makinf a mess either way and seporates the oil into a catch can instead of blowing it everywhere

Assuming that the top is unscrewable to clean the screen, I would be interested in one.
