Modded CP3 Information Update

Challenge for aftermarket companies

Floor-It Diesel shows them on their website and they say that they are available now with stages 2 & 3 coming soon. They say they make them in house and I am just wondering who's idea this really is cause they sound like the same cp3.

What exactly does John @ Floor-It selling his stage1 cp3 have to do with your/NADP cp3??

john is also involved with this project, we are not supposed to release these yet so thats why i was questioning it. john and berry R&D the pumps, and i am one of the only three dealers in the country!!!, futher testing of the other things we have and future cp3 mods i am involved in. thanks :-laf

I'm courious to see how these modded cp3's will do on the 04. 5's and up w/ the 3rd injection cycle which seems to plauge these trucks with lower rail pressures. Is this something you guys have dealt with?

alll the ill efects of the 3rd injection are delt with, the 3rd injection seems to be more potent on top end than before alot more. thanks

Matt,

For reason that will not be gotten into here the prices and release dates of stage 2 and 3 of the CP3s have been pushed back. However the date in getting closer ever day. I work at Floor It Diesel and am involved in the testing and production of these pumps. This is how I got this information.

update

well, it seems that we have to make new and even better injector nozzels for our stage 2 cp3's 32,000+ psi and our stage one will require our current injectors or equivilant extruded honed matched and balenced sets, make sure that they are tested for a constant 28,000psi for min of 2 hours min, before you buy them. all nozzels or materials are not the same!!! on a better note, all we are waiting for is for testing to finish on the stage 1, and shortly after that the stage 2!!! thanks :-laf

the injectors, turbos, trannys, and fuel pumps(LP) and some other things are ready, if you wanted to start getting your truck set up for stage 1 only!!

stage 2 would be limited to just the turbo's, transmission and the modded fuel pump (LP),not the cp3. for now!! thanks :-laf

Sorrry, not sure I understood. I thought earlier you said Stage I would work with the factory injectors. Are you now saying that Stage I will require upgraded injectors.

Thanks,

Jim

yes thats the way we would rather have it set up. mainly because of so many people useing pressure boxes or wanting to in the near future, and the pressure that those boxes demand when backed by our pump, stock injectors will run into problems if run @ that pressure consistently, with a pressure box installed ---its just a chance that we dont want to take. now were not going to make you ues our injectors---but it is stongly recomended, for those that dont want to use pressure boxes, its up to you!! im here to tell you the truth behind each item that we R&D and then sell, and what set up is needed for your 100% satisfaction, and 100% reliability!!! if you have any questions, just let me know!! thanks

If we leave the injectors alone, don't run a pressure box and just slap on a modded CP3 pump - we'll still see a nice little bump in power... correct?

yes you will see a nice little bump in power, then the limiting factor is your relief valve, the constant pressure spikes will eventually ruin it. thanks

Im wondering that myself! And what if we want to run someting that dosent add pressure, say a TST PMCR will the stock injector be ok to run then?
