It certainly adds a lot of stress to the front suspension, especially the ball joints and wheel bearings. Something most tire places probably don't advise their customers.

With prices like that ill be sticking with my stock wheels. I am going to call american racing and see what they have to say about the situation we all havewith the bs issue.

as far as weld goes i got the new catalog and there is nothing that is specifically made for dodge with the right amount of backspace unless it still insnt in there 2004 catalog... as far as a 4. 625 as compared to 4. 5 we are talking an 1/8 not enough to make a difference. and the welds are in the same price range as the billets.

i wrote them an email a few days back on this subject and i hope answers come soon. i don't want wheels that stick out 3+ inches out of the fender. that looks kinda trashy to me. if it's a little, i could get some xenon flares or something,... .

As noted in an earlier post, this is very recent news. Vaughn spoke to Kent of T-Rex who was instrumental in making this happen. The Weld wheels are currently available but not on their website or in their catalog as of yet.

CSilkowski, we need to get a contact name & number at Weld because when you call their 800 number no one has a clue what you're talking about. I think that will come when Kent makes a post, hopefully soon.

Check out Ion Alloys, they have several new wheels in the 17" 8 on 6 1/2 pattern that look nice and won't break the bank.

In particular the series 138 is a very nice wheel and comes polished or chromed.

The 170 wheel is a bead lock simulation wheel, comes polished or chrome and they have replacement beadlock rings that are anidized and available in blue or red, way cool.

175 is an awesome dullie wheel, if I hadn't just bought alcoa's I would go for a set of these.

If any thing catches your eye, Jeggs handles them or do a web search for better pricing.
