Finally picker her up today, after a long long long wait, Not really that long compared to some, but i was going nuts any way. Turns out the goof balls at the shipping yard sliced the right front tire, and it was delayed there for almost 4 weeks before they could figure out how to put the spare tire on and ship it to the dealer. Got to say i am impressed with how she runs, cant wait to add some warranty voiding improvement though. Looks like it's time to call HVAC, I think he might have just the thing i need (gauges, exhaust, injectors, PSA, EZ, yeah that ought to do it for a month or so LOL. (just kidding if any one from dodge is reading this, bombing is bad shame on the tdr for putting those crazy ideas in my head)
Any way, every thing looks pretty good, no surprises. YOU guys are correct about the quality of dodge paint though. Can you say orange peel? Oh well what do you want for the price of a small run down house. From the looks of this post i should stop rambling, i guess that's what I get for staring at all that red paint for the last 12 hours. Or maybe im just high from sniffing diesel fumes. Wife told me to pull my nose out of the tail pipe, but da*n that stuff smells good. phil

Congrats on your new truck-sounds like a twin to mine except for color (mine is Bright Silver). Mine showed up at the dealer last Thursday morning-finished PDI yesterday I guess. I have to work a couple long days this week so I won't be able to pick it up until Thursday-this has been the longest few days of my life I think..... Oh well could be worse.

Surprisingly mine also sat in holding at the plant for a month-suppose they had a rash of slit tires or something else?!? Was yours built in St. Louis too?

I too have a CTDS. Two guys at work have Gassers that are Sports, both are diehard chevy fans. I think the sport trucks look really nice. FWIW does yours have the raised chrome badge on the doors or does it have the flat sticker?

I too bought my CTDS because of the TDR. The support here is great.

It had the chrome raised emblems on the door, along with a small sport emblem behind the quad doors, about the level of the bed. was surprised to see this, as i believe they were coming with the stickers on the door, it also had the stickers that said dodge 4x4 on the tailgate. Oh well, they only lasted about 45 minutes before they got attacked with a heat gun and piece of fishing line. looks way cool with no badges.

csutton7, im ready for the next warranty voiding bomb session. For now, i have to stay away from brandon though, he gives me all kinds of bank account melting ideas, today i dropped by his shop to show him my new toy, 30 minutes later, i left with an EZ and a red valve cover. My credit card company loves him. All i can say is holy cow, if any of you guys have not tried the ez, you have to. These trucks should run like this from the factory, absolutely woke my truck up. The guys in the shop were all laughing at me, had only 98 miles on the odo, and already adding boxes and gizmos, i love it. Phil

Does anyone know where I can get two of the small "c" cummins emblems? I want to remove the "Sport" emblems that are behind the rear quad windows and put a small cummins logo there. Any help is appreciated.
