Find original invoice with VIN on website?

OK, so I found a potential used '03 HO that I might be interested in, but it's on the lot of a GM dealer so he can't look up the VIN and give me a list of all the original options. Is there a website where this can be done? I tried my local dealer but they're not interested in helping me because they're not selling me the truck. What other info can be distinguished from this VIN?

Try the Parts Counter, they can tell you everything that was built on a given truck as long as you have the VIN. I was looking for paint info and they did it for me.

carfax says their is 4 records for that vin. They give you that much info without charging... . try to find someone with the subscription who can run it for you.



Take the vin to any service dept. Like others said, they can give you all the info including the service history too. Make sure its a 5 star dealer because they seem to the be most 'connected' dealers.

My parts dept was able to print off all original order codes for my 2001 based on VIN - that I bought used in another state. It does not come out like a sticker, but you can wade through it and find anything you may be looking for.
