Yep, I finnally decided to do some more upgrades to my Dodge to make it preform better. I must of got to use to the 356HP I use to have. I had another TDR member install the following upgrades to help me in my power quest which was the following items: KSB-1 turbo, push pump back by fuel tank where it belongs, Ray's hi-flow banjo bolts and topped off by last but least DD Super Mental Injectors. After turbo break-in it seemed to peak out at 44-45 PSI boost and EGT's do not get over 1100-1150 even going uphill and exceding the speed limit by xx MPH. I guess I need more fuel yet maybe some BD5's should do. Does anybody know or have this paticular combo is in HP on an ETH? I am thinking around 450-460ish. I hope to dyno it next weekend in CO to find out for sure, but my Butt-O-Meter says quit abit. I really do love the sound of the turbo as it drowns out my radio even especially at full boost, but I do miss the exhaust brake though and hope to get a remote one installed soon. I just hope my head gasket stays together. Thanks again Floor-it for all your help.

Hey Doug,

Sound like you have all smiles on you face with this setup. I would think you should be real concerned about the head gasket.

Charles

Well I am hoping to get the head O-ringed soon. HVAC were are you if you go to CA to go Jeeping bring an O-ringed head with you. Anyway I have hit 44 PSI boost about 6 to 8 times so far in two days and the head gasket seems to be hanging in there. Foor-it thinks that I should be okay since I do not run propane or any thing else. Any yes it is all smiles:) :) :).

Doug you put two shells in your wheel gun to play roulette :p

it's not will I . . it's when . . but you'll have fun till ya do the deed :D

ON edit. . I don't see a fueling box in the mix... maybe you only have one shell in the gun LOL

O-Ring

Doug, without the propane your not going to need to O-ring with 45 psi IMO. You would benefit from a . 020 gasket however. That would knock down the static compression which would be helpful.

Gary I do have a baby box since it is just the EZ, but it runs good for EZ and Supermentals. I ran a test to day to see how much faster it is up my hill near my house. With the EZ and DD2's I would get to 90 MPH, now with Supermentals it is 102 MPH. Good improvement. What is really wierd is my old setup I would get a big surge in power at around 2100 RPM, but now I have no surge in power it seems to be a real good even hard pull from 1500 through about redline. I am still amazed. Testing on the hill with 80 degree outside air EGT's still never got over 1150 at 102 MPH.

I know our buddy Nowel is usually correct... . buttttt I think WE are on borrowed time as to the Gasket. . but we'll both have some fun till the damnnnn thing goes :D
