it may be worth your time to ask your dealer about the recall i listed above. however it seems by some of the posts that the fix for this recall may not be adequate it you tow. my dealer was some what less than informative when i asked him all what the recall procedure included. if you learn anything on this i would be thankful if you updated me.

I'll try. But its been my experience that the dealers near me,Antioch Dodge and Brentwood Dodge, have no concern about recall's and or TSB's and could care less about anybodys motoring troubles. .

Try Fritz's wage page he has most of TSB listed and a link to another site with all (have to pay to play) TSB for a fee.



Should be able to find link in one of the post for Fritz's page by doing a search( Fritz's ... . ), or type in Dodge trucks in search box of your on-line provider. His web page should be listed.

thanks for the info. with info and a recall number from Fritz's web page, my dealer is going to look at my problem on what the chrysler recall center called a possible "reoccurence of a recall"



I figure it is worth a try. by dodge's own admission by issuing a recall there is a design problem. if they turn me down because of some engine mods i guess i will fix it myself.

They ordered the wrong part.)^%*&%&

I went to Dodge today and found out that the parts the guy gleefully ordered, was the entire inside firewall soundproof mat or something... Nothing to do with a heat shield.



Anyhow, I have NO idea what the actual cost is, but i have the recall # and will provide them with the info tomorrow.

Do you live in Antioch? I used to live there and in knightsen (sp?). I moved away from there in 1980 and have not been back since. I hear it's really grown since then. I need to get down there and see how things have changed.

I moved to Shore Acres ( West Pitt)in 84' and east county was farms then. . I have no clue what it looked like in 80'



You would not belive it now. I live in "Oakley, city of" on the north side of the R/R tracks, east of Big break marina.



Hwy 4 is stopped, full of traffic at 515am in Antioch!!!



Do I ever wish I lived up in Idaho. . I may sooner then later be going to Coeur d'Alene, or north of.



Can't wait to get out of Ca... ( You lucky dog!!)

if you can remember Lone Tree Way, it's building up all the way to

Empire Ave, and then some, Deer Valley Rd, is being build up toward Brentwood, a new Kaiser hospital is being built out there also. like Bug Out said Oakley, Brentwood and Antioch is exploding at the seams.
