Firestone air bags

Has anybody installed air bags on the 2004 trucks. I am wondering if you will have to drill all the way through the frame. If so is there a bushing to install so the frame will not collapse. Anybody have any pics.

I have installed them on my truck. No drilling is required. The install was easy. There is 1 pic on my readers rig, but not installation pictures. I have a couple of pics of the tank and generator too.



Don't drill any holes in the frame of your truck w/o doing research (supposed to be a no no)

No drill required. They mount on the axle in place of the rubber bump stops on the frame.

I have the Air Lifts and both are essentially the same installation. Quick and easy!

What is the part number for the firestone ride rite air bags ? I called Summit for a price quote and they don't have a listing for a 2004, books only go to 2003. Does anybody know if the 2003 part number will work with the 2004. 5 2500 ram 4X4 ???
