installing on My 99.

air bags

I have a set on my old chevy and have put them on my brother in laws 3500,he is a used equipment dealer and always hauls over loaded,he loves them he actually bent the brackets that come with them which is his fault as stated ,installation is not bad a drill, tape measure and assorted hand tools needed. If ya need some lift as stated by the manufacture up to the gvw of the truck there are great and over that the bags are fine but the brackets need to be reinforced. Good luck. Ramman

airbags

Harry, I installed Firestones on my 3500 about 2 mo. ago. Firestone said they would mount without removing overload springs. I measured, scratched my head, measured, held brackets against frame, scratched my head measured again. Finally I removed overload springs, and airsprings mounted with all the right clearances. Not really a big deal to remove overload springs. Hardest part was holding brackets against frame to get an accurate mark to drill holes

I haven't tried the Firestones, but I have installed two sets of Air Lifts. They go on without removing the overloads.

Try Summit Racing for a good price. They have a website.
