What is the consensus on PSI when UNLOADED and LOADED. I guess the loaded depends on weight. Thanks!

I do following

With a 8 1/2 ft slide in camper-85psi to control sway

3 horse bumper pull trailer full of hay and bed full of hay-60psi

1 horse in trailer-don't bother or 20psi

Empty I let air out

Tire pressure seems to have the biggest impact on ride quality.

good luck

Yep, that was my next thinng to consider, what should my tire pressures be??? right now I have 70 in the back and 60 in the front. I run this loaded or unloaded because I hate having to adjust them on a daily basis. Would I reduce my pressure to say 65 in the rears with the airbags??? Thanks!

OK, so they are in!!! I need to take my gooseneck for a drive and see what PSI I need to run and if I need to adjust the nose any. . Would a gooseneck have LESS tongue weight than a Bumper pull???

The gooseneck will have the same weight, it is just applied directly over the rear tires.

Unlike a bumper pull that levers down on the rear, lifting the front while using the rear tires as a pivot point...

Don't you find that compressor to be noisy? I mounted mine on the passenger side firewall, and mounted the tank on the passenger side frame rail.

With the fold flat floor closed and the seat down, it's not too bad believe it or not. It doesn't run for very long when I adjust the bags. Also, I usually fill the bags up while I'm hooking up the trailer, so we're not in the truck anyway. So, it hasn't been a bother at all.
