My liners rubbed on my bags, so I had to put a spacer to hold the liner out away from the bag. Only needed about a 1/4" spacer.

Second gen trucks that have fender liners need to have the liners trimmed, but the third gen trucks have the airbags mounted inboard of the springs.

Thanks, I may be upgrading.

What is the service life of this compressor for someone who uses it alot. Exhaust brake, airbags, and maybe the occasional tire?

And which compressor is it? I am wanting to add and OBA setup. for airbags and occasional tire inflation.

I've got the early design compressor on 2 trucks with over 500K on them with no compressor problems. One of these trucks the compressor drives both the exhaust brake and air bags... the other truck its the exhaust brake and air horns. our 04 now has 260K miles and its exhaust brake, air bags & air horn... .

Most of my stuff sits outside at night... . into the single digits and below zero if we are in Canada... we've had some solenoid issues with moving from a warm moist to a cold dry climate but once the engine compartment warms and drys out were good to go. .

Someone asked about C&C mounting and my research has found no one is building the kit yet... When I get a minute I'm going to see about fitting one to our 5500... . but its going to be after the ice... I hate crawling under a truck and get full of dripping ice. .
