I never did respond to this post after I got the fluid changed.

I used a Dremel with a cut off wheel to cut a slot in the plug and then used a chisel, it popped it loose with ease. If I wouldn't have rounded the hole prior to using the Dremel and chisel I could have kept using the old drain plug without an issue. When I installed the new plug I heavily coated the o-ring with grease before installing it. WHen I was changing the fluid I got to thinking about that I had the plug out before I installed the pan. I put the drain plug back in with the o-ring dry. That could have been the problem.

Hit the plug w/ a hammer first and it will come loose everytime!
That may have worked for you, but I had dimple marks in the old one from hitting it before I even attempted to loosen it the first time. I rounded out the plug and it didn't even phase the allen wrench.
