Competition The New Kid on the Block

Well - I suppose it's a "generation" thing - I admire the mechanical aspects - but visually, from these and earlier pics, the thing looks butt-ugly - guess it's designed for a specific niche segment of automotive interest - the finished pics may clear it up a lot...

Good luck! :)

Boy Gary, sure hope my employies that have put so many personal hours into building this don't read your post. What you are seeing is just the frame and roll cage. There is a body being painted to go over the top. Oh, and it is designed for mud bogs/drags

No offense intended - just another "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" sort of thing, and like I said, the mechanical portion looks great - and I'm sure it's VERY well put together. I had seen the body mockup with the engine/frame in an earlier thread, but didn't see a statement as to the purpose of the vehicle, which you have cleared up as being a mud bog type. Should work out great - and congratulations to your crew - I have no doubt their fine work will be WELL rewarded when the the going gets "down and dirty"! :-laf:-laf

Cheers!

Any plans for roll-over protection for the turbo and other critical engine parts?

Nice piece and bet it will be competitive!!

I guess we all have our idea of cool, but I think that rig is bada**, seriously mean looking beast with or without the body, you guys must have put a lot of work into it, way to go, that is a mean machine.

Let us know when you start using that thing. I live close by (45 min) and wouldn't mind seeing that thing in action someday.

I'm not a follower of "Mud-bogging" - so an explanation of how it works would be helpful - is it a time/distance sort of event - like a 1/8 mile drag race, but in the mud?

Any available videos of an event?
