First 5er outting

Hi all, Well we're on our first trip this weekend to Rend lake in Illinois Oo. , short trip to see what we need before we go to the Smokies in July. Took it in and weighed it today truck & trailer 17490lbs. :--) So far I just like sitting in it in the drive-way, look for a post on Monday and I'll fill you in on the good and bad, and once again thank's for every one's help over the past 2 1/2 months Don & Lynne Barr

We made it back with no trouble, found a few thing's we need (more leveling blocks ,broom,small stuff) trailer towed well, set cruse @62mph over drive on 95%of the time,12. 9mpg still getting use to the small clunk/free play in the hitch but all in all we had a great time and made it back safely and got a 30' tow strap for father's day to boot. Glad you had fun. Rv'ing is a learning experience..... There is a thing in trailer life magazine where people send in "10-minute tech" solutions to make life easier... Sub. to trailer life and the slip for ordering it is in it... . Also the mag is very good... .
