first diesel

I purchased a " see bottom" and this is my first diesel.



I have been reading the fourms for about 3 months and finally became a member. I appreciate all the help you have given, and the help you guys give me in the future. Please view my other posts and help if able.



I wish to learn as much as possible from you about the diesel engine, especially the "BOMBING".



The diesel bug has bitten me, as I am looking to repower one of my other trucks with a cummins.



I have never been a dodge fan, and I doubt i would have puchased this dodge if it didnt have the CUMMINS. So at least for now i like dodge, but i hope not to get into the problems others have had with dodge dealerships.



1st gen has me as a new member, and conversions has me searching for info for my next cummins power machine.

Welcome aboard. I've been a member for a while but I always watched the second gen forums.



I bought a 92 250 4x2 5spd Std cab Long bed a week or two ago. I have to say I really like this truck, it's not a runner like my '01 but it's simple and fun to drive, not to mention easy to park



The 1st gen forum has already helped with a speedo problem and the environmental controls. They were worth the membership fee for the next year or two.

jlast welcome to the group post your questions on the first gen. forum and I am sure you will get all the answers you need. As to bombing first order of business gauges pyro, tach, boost,and trani temp then you know where you stand and won't hurt the beast. Bill
