Competition First ever drag race at local strip

Did the midnight drags out at the Rocky mountain raceway here in SLC. UT

First time I ever done it, have only a 4 wire bluechip box and a 4" exhaust.

Have a 6 speed so RT is slow but all in all, about what I expected to do. first run was 19. 1 at 78mph second run was 17. 8 at 79 mph



There were a lot more Diesels out there than before. seems like a neat thing to do from now on when I am bored.



There was another dodge that must have had a lot of mods, he did 15 sec and 90 mph. he had a hiccup at the start though

THis was fun, gotta do more, gonna get a BD van atkin box in later. ... see what that does...

Thanks for the post, but let's not forget that he is at 4500 ft! I know for a fact there is a dramatic difference in my truck at that elevation.
