I use what they call a wobble extension. First is to put the socket on the nut, drop down the 12in wobble extension the add a 6in to
that one, then a long handle 3/8 ratchet and remove.

I wore out my 3/8 Snap on wobble extension,but it did many filter changes per day since 01

That's why I'll be taking mine to the dealer for the first change!

That's what I've been thinking, too. Let them deal with the factory gorilla aftermath. After that, it won't be so tough.
