Does anyone make a nice looking kit to install a front or rear sway bar on these trucks if anybody wanted to?

I don't know about the rear, but the front should be all set up for it. There should be tabs on the front spring plates for the end links to bolt to, and the holes are in the frame for the bushing mounts. Just get one off of any 4x4 truck and slap it on. Like I said, mine came from a Ramcharger. It is huge, well over 1" diameter and cost me $16 out the door at a self-serve wrecking yard. I bet if you look around, you could make a rear bar out of a 90s Ford fit without too much work.

Travis,

Thanks for suggesting this. I always forget to look at ramchargers when I'm scrounging for parts. I gotta tatoo this one on my brain.

Hello thread from the past! ;)

To play with this question further, is there a difference between the W250 and W350 front swaybars?

I haven't seen a w350 sway bar but I have seen many different sizes and flavors of 4x4 sway bars in the junk yard and the one on my '93 W250 LE is the largest I've ever seen regarding bar diameter.

mine also has the sway bar and you can't find them nor the links anywhere. My truck had(working on as we speak) 12. 5 x 2. 5 shoes on the rear but is getting 3" installed.
