Where have we gone?

Well I must say, ya'll missed one hell of a rally, the TDR Nationals in Columbus, IN. I for one had a great time, and everyone that I talked to said the same thing. I even had a chance to put some names with faces. I met the owner of a meticulously maintained '92 white and grey W350, GeneH. Its people like him that you enjoy meeting and socializing with. I even have a picture of his truck when it wasn't in its usual spotless condition! I had no idea that a truck so clean could smoke soooo much:D When he went down the 1/8th mile track it looked like a brushfire was behind him. Just kidding Gene.

Anyway, I'm hoping to put some more faces with names this weekend at Scheid. I think that JFitzgerald said he'd be there, how about the rest of ya? Hope to see ya there.

Diesel Extravaganza

Hey Dieselman359, glad the Nats were fun. The price was too high IMO when I figured up the bill for the family of four, but I really would have liked to tour the Cummins plant. I'll be at Scheid's for Friday at least. The plan was to have my new rocker panels installed by then, but they are still back ordered, so I'll be there with my rusty rockers. :( Oh well, the main thing I'm looking forward to is the dyno run. My truck won't set any records, but I want to know where I'm at with the "tweaks" done so far.

Hope to see some of you guys there.

It's good to blow the soot out every couple years.

I haven't had the pedal to the floor since the last time we went drag racing at the TDR Rally in 1999.

These events are special because you get to meet the nicest people and see the best trucks made.
