First Gen Questions

I own a 99 3500 QC 24V, so I'm fairly 12 valve illiterate. I'm considering a 92 or 93 250 and was wondering if DC ever made a club cab/shortbox? Also curious about the auto transmission. Are there many aftermarket companies that make upgrades for auto? What kind of power can they handle when modified? Did the 92/93 modoels have air bags? What gear ratios were offered in these models? Sorry about all the questions, but I need to know before I buy. Thanks for any and all help

You're lookin too,eh???. They didn't make a short box in the first gens. They have jump seats instead of a bench in the rear(which I didn't know until I test drove one!). And the mods are pretty much unlimited.
The rear end gear ratios are the same, 3. 54 or 4. 10. I think BD makes a valve body for the auto if you get scarey with the HP. No air bags until 94/95.
I saw a '92 4x4 CC in Grande Prairie for about $18K and only 97,000 Km on CanadaTrader.com. There aren't too many out there!!!!Good Luck!!
