First haul with Jacobs ebrake

Took the first trip with the TT since I installed the Jacobs ebrake. This was a trip between where I live and the Oregon coast. And its not flat. Worked great!I was able to slow down for the curves and not touch the brakes at all. By anticipating the corners and with proper shifting the ebrake did its job. I know I will need to adjust my driving when my new 5er arrives but I still feel the ebrake will handle it. #ad

I have a PacBrake on my two trucks and the 2001 6 speeds works GREAT #ad

!! You will find as the trailer gets heavier the ebrake will work better and better. Dont be afraid to downshift and let the rpm's go past 3000 that is where the ebrake really kicks in.

Mr Brolin... glad you are enjoying the e brake. I use mine all of the time... loaded or empty. Use caution in heavy traffic... no brakelights and the person behind you on their cellphone is the beginning of disaster!

The Jacobs ebrake is the best thing I have bought for my truck. Makes pulling the 5er much easier. To bad my turbo started only working half of the time so I could get back up the hills. #ad
