probably, but the question is a bit more complex. The overall flow rate capability is affected by the total series resistance (i. e. pressure drop) presented by all the tubing in series between the pump and the injector. think of the tubing in two "pieces": one from pump to rail, and the other is the rail itself to the injector. enlarging piece one would decrease the pressure drop across this element, regardless of the pressure drop across the pipe elements in the rail itself. Its rather like two resistors in series -- reducing the value of one resistor does in fact reduce the value of the combination.

pressure drop in a pipe depends on effective diameter and length. I don't know the following is a fact, but if the supply pipe from the pump to rail were "long" comparitively, then there may be an opportunity to reduce the entire system flow rate by enlarging it. It also may be the case that this pipe is more easily changed or modified than the rail itself, so it mght represent a "slow fat rabbit" or "low hanging fruit" if you will. no experience here, just theory...

He said the the PMCR can pretty well tack out the fuel system with stock injectors, when you add the extra injectors, it really taxes the fuel system.

He also told me it was imparative to get a fuel pressure gauge on the truck quickly:eek:

Thanks, DuaneOlson let me know what you find out about how to hook them up together. Do you have Bill Heath's #?

Well I finally got some reults from the TST box, with a clutch that holds. Compared with the 140hp Quadzilla box, all I can say is wow. Skipping to settings 9 & 9, turbo boost 45 lbs. EGT's 1600 deg. with plenty of rpm left. The only time I'm getting any hesitation from lack of fuel pressure is after I've stayed on the throttle for a long period of time (which is not long with this box). The amount of torque coming in early on this box is just awesome. Launching the truck in 3rd at 2500rpm will not get you anywhere but at the tire shop. I'm hoping to have our twin set-up done and installed in the next week or so, hopefully before the dyno day at Indy on the 28th. Floor It, thanks for all the info on the B1 and keep it coming.

Finally ordered mine today! Decided against the built in gauges since I prefer analog anyways. Now I'm going to have to call Mark and be a PITA until it shows up on my door!!!! I don't have my gauges installed so atleast I have something to keep me occupied in the interim.

Keep the info coming; I'll have to make a list of do's and dont's for when I install it.

Chris -- South Bend Street Twin clutch right? How's it feel driving around town?

Big MAK,

Just curious to know if Mark gave you an ETA on your PMCR. I ordered mine 1/02/04 and I am still waiting  . I talked to a gal there over 2 wks. ago, and she said I should see it no later than 2 wks, and I still have not got my phone call to let me know my credit card has been charged and my PMCR is in the mail.

Hey Big Mak,

I was going to come over and talk to ya at Kats wedding but when I got a chance you had already left. I was going to talk to ya about the TST box. Rats!

It is the twin disk street puller not the street twin. Other than the stiff pedal and the floater plate noise the clutch is great. Driving around town is not a problem at all. The feel of the stock clutch will spoil you for sure. :D

Wasn't the SBC twin-disc street puller supposed to be quiet?

(My Fault) Actually its not the floater plate that is rattling. Being there is no springs in the 2 disc, the rattling is coming from the vibration of the engine. Which is traveling through the disc and the input shaft.
