So how many $$$$$ would it really take to walk out the door with that truck????

That would be around $44,112. 00 minus any rebates (FB, commercial, etc)

And you would get any regional rebates that come out, like the $1000 that just came on the 2006 mode diesel (quad cabs)

if taking multiple trips or multiple vehicles to haul the family is what it takes for you then, GIT-R-DONE!

for ME, and many others one of THESE will GIT-R-DONE! :D

Tomey, are these orderable or better yet on the lots yet? also what is the package or group to get the DVD player and sun roof and costs?

I wish I could afford one...

Laramie, leather, nav, dvd, 4x4, auto, 4. 11, moonroof, etc.

With a Kore Race suspension and rims, of course!

I love the size.

Dang..... Do you know how long that would be really be?

It is already as long as a Quad cab, long bed !

You do have a good point. See the problem with dodge is they have got to be the most backwards thinking retarded design team ever! Ford and chevy has been selling true crew cabs for years and dodge does not sell one until now. They should have started a couple years ago. but no, Instead they build this way too big mega cab and throw it on a frame that they already make to save money. They went overboard on the size of this cab. It should be inline with the chevy/ford crew cab and offer a 8 foot bed. Nobody needs a cab that big. Dodge, once again you guys went about this totally backwards.

tommy could i bug you for the fwp and msrp on just a quad cab. basically the first line on your example sheet ($47,695 and $41,818), but for the "standard quad cab" not mega cab?

Ok just read it again and i see the big difference... LARAMIE. Can i change my question(s)?

What does the "first line" say for a

"SLT Quad Cab 3500" VS "SLT Mega Cab 3500"

How does this compare to 2005 pricing?

Well notice that the laramie is not charged on the megacab above, it is rolled into the base price - but on 05 models they did not do that...

Call me and I can get you the info you want... But there are few more things that would need to be know... Like 3500? 06 or 05 model? etc

For example, the 06 3500 QC 4x4 has this:

So far the Megacab option is looking right around $2000 more than compairable Quad Cab - We will know more when "official" pricing is out :)

Agree. Dodge should've began making crewcabs back in '96, after the hugely successful introduction of the clubcab in '95.

Disagree. I think that the size of this cab and its features will be the envy of the market. I think people will use the storage space behind the seats and the reclining rear seats more than some think. I think Dodge got it right, even with just offering a shortbed at this time. Rumors continue to abound from more than one source about a MegaCab longbed coming next year. I'd be willing to bet it will happen, especially if the '06 MegaCab is as well received as I think it will be. Remember, Dodge only has so much production capacity and the crewcab shortbed market is where it's at right now.
