After MArket Lift pump on 6.7?

quad comander fuel pressure ??s

ok so the truck is running great quieter, better mileage, but is it possible to have to good of lubercation... . ? my engine temp will now never get over 160 in 80 degree weather it barely hit 180 at highway speeds and hitting 140 is barely possible in the now 30 degree weather (went from kansas to wtoming), the lower temp is an obvious indication of better lubercation and a lack of friction the engine cooling worked perfect before and all that changed was the oil this may not seem like a huge problem but a colder engine will not run as efecantly as a warmer one the fuel atomization will not be the same along with the engine running in open loop all the time (and i want the heater to work faster!), I was wondering if any one else has had this happen i put 2 large pizza hut boxes in front of the radiator to see if this would help but have yet to drive it with this new "modification". and i was wondering if this is a actual problem or me being parinoid... ?

Question please :) When was the last time you changed out your thermostat and did a radiator flush.

This might seem strange at first, but not really. If you have your original thermostat, it is possible that it is hanging slightly open on you. Some time they go bad in the closed position and sometime in the open position.

It is a 15 minute job for a thermostate. Next item, when was the last time you flushed the radiator. Why??? Is the core clean or do you have build up. If you have build up, is it possible that a piece of junk is caught in the thermostate holding it open.

Food for thought. If you in Wyoming, I would invest in a set of Winter Inserts for the Grill. This will allow you to warm up faster and run nice and warm when the wind chill factor is in the -40 range on those long stretches of road. Been there and suffered that;)

Food for thought.

Just a thought, but it might be possible that you have a 180 in there vice a 190 thermostat.

It will be interesting to see what you find. :)
