Competition Denver sled pull Moved to Friday afternoon

I pulled 294' , i believe if i had my suspension blocks in the back and spooled it up a little more it wouldve done better.

Oh and this is my first video posting so go easy on me :D

I start out in first gear(low range), then once boost is about 45psi i shift to second, then i hit the switch to go under full lock-up  Oh and i have 3. 54 gears also.

Nice truck and hook.

No Flame intended, only suggestion, is to put a turn up pipe on the exhaust. Looks like the crowd got a soot bath.

Git-r-done, no offense taken. But i already have a 90 turn up tip on it for pulling, it just points out at about a 50 deg. angle ;) . Ive got all the stuff to go with a single stack just havent done it yet.

I agree with you 100% though it is much more enjoyable to spectate if your not having to run away from a stampede of soot :-laf :-laf

This particular pull is at oakboro N. C. , and on the last pull they had last year the flag man at the track start got ran down and fell, by a wall of soot from an extended cab truck. Wish we had've got that on video!!

That was a nice hook, smooth. Perhaps a "touch" overfueled? :-laf

Do you like that transmission?

Gotta love that RED CLAY!!!!

Yea, the new DV's i put in that morning are definately "RICH" to say the least, dont really know what they are but they sure hurt my fuel mileage. :(

I LOVE the transmission, it has held up to my HEAVY foot just fine. Only thing i wish i had dave add was billet output(i have the input) shaft. Oh and a billet flexpate, the one in it is a "new" cummins flexplate and over the winter i am going to change it out--if it lasts this summer. :-laf I have around 30-some hooks on it and about 10 drag launches on it @ 15 psi, with 11,000 miles so far it has been great.

Oh and I believe I can clear some of that smoke up by making that B-1 push about 55-ish with w/g adjusting, I just dont want to pop the h/g YET(i hanent saved up enough for that)

We are planning on attending, if i get my loops on in time.

Also do i need a shut-off that hooks to the sled? What class do you think I need to be in @ a DHRA event judging by my mods?

Nice looking hook. Judging my your short mod list (in your sig) you are probably a street class truck, like mine.

You don't need the shut off that goes on the sled.
