Competition First pull today

303. 8' good enough for 4th. There weren't a lot of big names there, but a good enough pull. I was bouncing off the governor about the 250' mark, I need to tweak those governor springs a little more and slide the plate just a little more forward. I was pretty happy, finally all of the work has paid off, I have spent a lot of time with this truck. I guess you get a good feeling cause I did all of the work myself/help of a friend. We rebuilt the transmission, changed to 241DHD, Put in a Dana 80(pulled the carrier and had it welded), built the ladder bars, changed out the pump to a 887 pump, did the valve springs(titanium retainers and keepers). There is another pull this friday, hopefully have the rest of the ujoint loops and the weight bracket done.
