Competition First races for the 98'

Hope this is the correct forum. Ok, I raced 2 1995 Ford Lightning pickups. Both of them are 14. 90 trucks. To make a long story short, I can kill them from 1st gear and then they seem to drive around me. When my transmission finally locks up in 4th, I stop the pull and start to gain slightly, but never made up the 1-1. 5 trucklength. Seems like the stock transmission is VERY inefficient in 2nd-3rd-4th non-lockup. Time for a convertor and valve body? On a good note, I did get a brand new Duramax to "try" and leave me from a light... . it was over in 2nd gear

My torque converter is starting to slip by a few hundred rpm when it is in lockup JIM!!! Oh boy, I am not even touching the gas pedal anymore! I have to go to Colorado in 2 weeks too. Hey Jim, lets set a date for the KDP fix before I go. I will come by this evening and get you that piece of paper I owe you!!
