First Real Bomb.."D-Box"

Its made by SuperChip, and is practically the same as the EZ boz - plugs into the Data Link and Map Sensor Loop, and hs 3 jumper positions - Mine is on the max.



It came with the waste gate elbo - the instructions say it's optional ?? Doesn't mention EGTs.



How many of you are running similar boxes with out the elbo?



If I go in to install the elbo, I'll probably have to loose that silencer ring!

The truck runs a lot stronger! It practically idles up all the hills around here empty.



Saturday I hd the landscape trailer loaded with the toro, A walk behind Ryan aerator, and about 600lbs of seed,fertilizer, and lime. I was plling up a steep, curvy hill and let off to slow down - and it upshifted, setting me back in the seat! EGTs never went over 1,000 pre turbo.



Today I added the elbo, it seemed to make it a little stronger still! I was empty today and couldn't get in enough of a pull to get the boost up - once I slowed down to 50 on the steepest hill I have here - pushed down throttle and the boost did hit around 1100 before it got up to 70 and Ihad to let off.



The truck shifts through the gears much better now also.
