Don`t you worry about a fire/explosion hazzard using propane? I know it works very good (alot better than 134a) but the flammability aspect would worry me.

Automotive refrigerent propane is NOT barbecue cylinder propane.

Ignition of refrigerent propane is 1635°F

Ignition of refrigerent 134a is 1328°F

FWIW 6 oz of R12a (propane) will euqal 15 oz of 134a

A Dodge Ram holds 41 oz charge of R12,however the propane charge is only 14. 3 oz ;)

I'm fuzzy on the rules/guidlines of recommending a particular vendor... ... ... ... ... ..... though I suppose we do recommend "PDR" quite a lot.

You ask as if a vendor license is needed to purchase this. :) A two year old can buy it.

I'll be safe and pm or e-mail you the guy who I buy it from, though there are dealers nationwide.

Replace Switch

Replace the fan control switch on the dash... . takes 5 minutes... . they go out on a regular basis and are usually the culprit in minimal air movement... . you can get the part at Checker or Autozone... should only be $10. 00 or so...
