first time dyno

yesterday i went to put the ol dodge on a mustang dyno and here's what i ended up with. i still have stock turbo,lift pump and cp3. with kax injectors and smarty on sw#5 487. 9hp and 913. 8. with smarty sw#9 561. 1hp and 1032. 2tq. not what i would have expected but WOW... ... . thanks to peter a SBC, that new spring dampended DD in my G56 held up flawlessly... now if i could just figure out how to post the dyno graph... ... ... .

i guess i will have to relinquish my crown. as highest hp with stock turbo. :{

those are some great numbers kyle. you really got me wondering if my stock clutch was slipping on the dyno now. i have always thought it was but alot of guys say it didnt. although i did have to force it into gear to get out of the dyno room.



cant wait to see the dyno graphs!!! Oo.

How Come I Run Out Of Turbo When I Run Mine ? On 6/6 With My Tst Box I Got 435 Hp , I Am Trying To Get To 500 Without Spending A Ton Of Money , Just Installed A Duel Fuel Line Set Up And Can T Tell Any Difference , I Know On 6/6 Setting And I Floor It , Egt Goes Up Quick , What Else Can I Do To Get To 500 Hp With Out Spending $$$

thank you bob and thanks for workin with marco and giving us all the updated info. this smarty is factory setting i haven't had the urge to try any of the new updates yet.



NPloysa= kax injectors are made in washington and timberline dodge in portland,oregon sells them installed letting them stay under factory warranty. they are rated at 120hp, and i am running is SBC's new spring dampened DD for the G56... .

Where are you from? Whos Dyno did you run on?

i did the run at extreme dyno tuning and performance or www.extremedynotuning.com they are in bend oregon. i did 5th gear pulls cause iv'e heard some do there's in 6th to make higher numbers.

what are your EGT's like? i have a buddy here with injectors and a smarty... stock turbo... and he can bury the pyro on the peg at 1600*. when he lets off the throttle, it takes a couple of seconds for the EGT's to start to drop. He is also running 52 psi through his stock turbo. :--)

ya EGT's go up and down just like watching the tach. i am going twins within a couple of months. i'd be conserned about the 52psi in with the stock turbo, cause iv'e heard 40psi is about the limit. highest boost iv'e ever seen was about 38psi but it happens real quick.

All that with JUST a Smarty and injectors?? ... . and only 38psi. I need to get mine on the dyno.

put a bottle of :-laf gas on it. easy HP and cheap too.

I had the same result as you,... zero improvement. Going to just cap it next.
