First Tow!!

I hooked up my wife's little 2-horse bumper pull tonight and was AMAZED!



I could spin the tires in 2nd gear from a stop. I could practically drag race the truck (no horses loaded, just empty trailer) from 0-60. Every gear had pull, even sixth.



I think I'm going to like this truck LOTS.



I did notice that at about 80-85 the truck runs out of steam. Guess the manual trans trucks just aren't cut for speed... but I'm not complaining. I'd never pull a trailer that fast anyhow...



Made the right choice going with the Ram...

I finally owned one, after waiting for more than a year. I had a 2003 F250 Powerstroke sold it last Jan 2005. I picked up my new 2006 Mega Cab 4x4 SRW, last Saturday. This is an awesome truck. I have been reading all the post here in TDR before making the decision to purchase a DODGE. I'm hoping this will be a keeper. Wife said she's not buying me another one... .

Since I bought my 06', two of my buddies are ready to trade in there F-350 and Chevy 3500. They're amazed that I can all most out pull them fully load going uphill. Both of them are running Banks systems in them.





For the record... . they laughed at me when I bought my second Ram. After the first time we towed through the Serria's, they never said a word again. :-laf
