Just got back from a successful trip with my new 4" exhaust and just recently had TSB 18-024-00 done. Wow! I noticed it on the first hill. The truck usually kicks out of overdrive when I hit this hill when I'm towing. Not this time. It just kept going.

The truck seems a lot stronger. It's not like squeal the tires faster, but on the hills it kicks butt. The fuel mileage is a bit better too, about 1 mile/gallon better.

I'm hooked baby! The injectors are next!

stownsend,

A good thing to get in the habbit of doing is kicking it out of OD your self when you hit the hills or when you know its going to kick out of OD. This will be a lot better on your transmission in the future. Low rpms on an auto is hard on them. Dont be afraid to run these trucks at high RPM's thats what they love. Going up hills I run mine at 2500 rpms all day long.

Snoking, my exhaust is ATS. It's a quality system.

Sky, I actually do kick it out of OD when I hit most hills. The only hills I don't are low grade. In fact, I will kick it out of OD when I'm going down steeps hills. It holds me back when I'm towing without having to brake too often.

Tell you what, with that new exhaust, when the RPM's are up around 2500 the sound is pretty loud. It's also pretty satisfying when you hit a big hill and the guy behind you goes in the fast lane to pass, but can't. :D
