bio diesel

Ethanol is NOT the fuel that will end our oil addiction

Just curious to know if anyone has tried, or knows anyone , who has tried the Fitch Fuel Catalyst? If so, does it really do what it claims?

i am by no means a chemist but..... some info from the sites faq page...

"""Q. What are the major components of the Fitch® Fuel Catalyst?

The catalyst is a composite of a number of metals formed into an alloy by a propriety process. """"

-it sound like it maybe a metal filter?

"""Q. How does the catalyst work?

Refineries cannot remove many poorly performing molecules to make a more ideal fuel. In addition, once fuel leaves the refinery or is stored it is subject to attack by oxygen, ozone, and microorganisms (bacteria, yeast, and mold) that grow in the fuel. All these processes degrade the fuel to make a poorer product that prevents engines from performing at optimum levels. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst reformulates fuel prior to combustion on board the vehicle, preventing oxygen and most diseases from attacking the fuel and reversing any degradation that may have occurred prior to the fuel being introduced to the vehicle. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst assists the combustion process by insuring that fuel is highly uniform, potent, consistent, and stable. """

-sounds like a chemical reaction happening here... from a filter?????:confused:

yea what ever!!!! i will say i run ps in the tank once in awhile to clean the injectors. never had a problem with fuel needing to be reformulated:confused:... i am not saying it does not work but there is got to be another gizmo that would be more fun and you would know that is it REALLY WORKING!!! say like a case of beer... :D:D:D:D

I would just get the fitch fuel catalyst that goes into the tank. The longer the catalyst is in contact with the fuel the better. Also it would be better than having a restriction before the injection pump. A catalyst is composed of many different metals and somewhat rearranges whatever it is supposed to be a catalyst for. How well the Fitch fuel catalyst works is a mystery, I tend not to believe a lot of product tests in magazines of paying advertisers.

we are running the fitch, our test show the fitch works best at low fuel usage city driving , empty, low speed etc towing it is 0. if you drew a graph it would look like a straight line with 20% improvement at idle to 0% at full power

CKelly1,

That's interesting.....

Have you noticed any other "benefits"... .

like cleaner fuel or anything... . as I recall they make some claim regarding that.

Since there is no mileage difference under load - what is your final take on it ?

Not worth the money ?

did not see any cleaner fuel, it did help the in town mileage enough that it will pay for itself in about 24 months , it plugs in to the filter no splicing , clamps to intake horn coupler bolts total time to install was 20 minutes

I Have A 2003 That I Bought The Inline Fitch For. . 235. 00 And Have Yet To Had The Time To Install. with These Fuel Prices I Will Have To Make Time. i Was Told It May Take A Little Time Before #s Show A Plus. i Can Get Fitch At Good Prices. call With Request. . 608-790-5563
