My Y2K ain't got the seat of the pants feel anymore. 48k on it and had a VA since about 27k. Where are the ports on the filter both pre and port for installing a guage. I'm starting to wonder if the lift pump went south. Also going to take it in for the reflash to correct the intermitent stumble. Should I hide the VA or leave it hooked up?

You should see a port at the vp44, it will have a black cap on it. facing the left fender. it is a # 4 fitting that has a schader valve in it. also one on back side of fuel fitter housing. same fitting.

Take the VA off or Chrysler will void your warranty for the whole truck. I know some one will say they can not do that but, tell that to my dealer.

Tell your dealer to show you in WRITING where it says you cant change external components. My Dodge dealer sells K&N filters and said they will even order banks Exhaust. The dealer can SAY anything he wants to scare you. But the fact is, when it comes down to a warranty issue, i assure you, they will not win in saying that because (for example) your transmission blows and because you have a Psychotty and a 4" exhaust that the repair is not covered.
I had a similar problem in my 96 Impala SS. I went through 5 water pumps in 3 years and i had all sorts of stuff done to the car, MSD, Dual 3" Exhaust, Headers, Bigger throttle body and Mass air sensor, etc and they fixed the water pupm EVERY time. They tried to blame everything else but they cant win.
Modifications to your vehicle can only void what you modified. So if you put an aftermarket fuel pump in and the new lines that everybody does, even though WE know that they are an improvment, if your Injector pump fails for whatever reason, i am quite sure DC will NOT be paying for it and they have a reason, YOU modifed your fuel system. You put a Centerforce clutch in and a few thousand miles later your trannie blows, its on you. If they ever give you any Cr*p, just tell then you want the number for DC's headquarters, then they will shut up
