TAG Testing on Twins

I have deceided to go with the FASS to solve my fuel issues ( 4 LPs and 1 VP in 45K!)

My truck is currently in the shop getting new VP and would like to get everythig set to put FASS on when it gets back.

I would like to replace the inlet/outlet and return hose barb fittings with Aeroquipe/Russell type swivel fittings, so ease of removal if needed and to keep from kinking the fuel line (would use 90deg fittings). I have seen acouple of posts that have info on this but for the life of me can not find them on a search.

What size fittings will I need? I have never used purchased these type of fittings so I am kinda dumb when it comes to sizes, size equivilants etc on them. I would assume that all the fittings would be the same size and would just need three sets?

I want to do this right, which I should have done years ago. My truck has been in the shop going on 1 week and they still dont have a completion date yet. Atleast it is all warranty work!

If it matters I will be getting the 95gph model, I'm not too bombed and only plan on exhaust in the future.

Thanks for any info and to all who have answered my FASS/fuel upgrade questions this past week.

Fuel Pressure port??

Also need to know were to get fuel pressure port to install near the VP in the supply line. The ones that I have seen are like a block with 1/8npt hole and hose barbs on both sides. I think FASS lines are 3/8. Looked on Summit and Russell site and couldnt find them, but know they exsist.

Thanks

Any ideas about the swivel fittings?

HELPPPPPPPP please

TTT,ANyone????

There has got to be some one out there who has either done this or has the info and the knowledge to let me knwo what size fittings I need.

The ones at the pump would be male pipe to flare and he hose ends would be 90deg female flare to push lock.

What I need is the AN size, the pipe thread size and the hose size for the push lock 90's

Thanks

If you can tell me what the size is of the ports and what size of hose you would prefer, I can provide the fittings. I would like to know more about the FASS too... does it take the fuel from the tank or does it tie into the hardline on the frame or?

I also have a flareless fitting that I can go to -6 or -8 JIC to push lock.

Some FASS owners have ordered different fittings and hose... but never the same set up.

Thank you for your interest in the FASS System, a “High Performance Fuel Delivery System for diesel engines. If this information does not answer your questions fully just let us know and we will answer them.

The FASS System comes with all the hardware needed for installing on the Dodge Cummins from 1998. 5 to 2004. The only part you will need to provide for the installation will be wire ties. Included in this kit is everything to connect the FASS System to the fuel tank, then to the injection pump and the return to the fuel tank from the FASS System. Even the restrictive banjo fitting in the injection pump is replaced with a larger fitting allowing for improved fuel flow. The fuel line included in the kit is 3/8” made by Parker Hannifin. Normal installation for the 1st time is usually about 2. 5 hrs. An installation manual is provided. The FASS System mounts on the outside of the driver’s side frame rail underneath the bed in front of the rear tire, where the big pocket is. The electrical connection is very easy! The FASS System plugs into the factory wire harness.

The pump has 1/2" NPT threads and I went with -AN8 fittings. They have a larger I. D. and will have less restrictions. All the fittings are Parker brand and avail. just about at any good Hose shop. Total cost for all the needed fittings was $25. 00
