My right side mirror glass has become loose (flip out tow mirrors). I know several guys have had this problem, but I couldn't find a fix anywhere? Anyone have a cure? Thanks.

I have seen a TSB floating around on this, but can't remember where. I think the fix was the Steeler putting on a new mirror.

As of tomorrow I will have a 2002, I will keep an eye on this.

Nope, plus I bought them separately and installed them myself. I have the power/heated ones in the garage, which I should put back on for the winter since we aren't going anywhere with the trailer for a while.

If the glass is loose, any auto glass shop ought to be able to put a dab of urethane behind it to glue it back into the housing for little or no cost. Do NOT let them use silicone- it'll come loose again after a while.

If the mirror head itself is loose, I guess you'll have to see a dealer.

There is another fix for the mirror arm loose if it's not the glass. I did that fix but if that's not what you need then you have the mirror glass fix.
