Hey-
Finally got out and used this product I discovered called 3m RustFighter I
As seen here: 3M RustFighter
Comes in a 3m Shultz style bottle that screw onto an undercoating gun made by 3m or astro. They even have a cheap 5 dollar one at harbor freight that works. My Astro cost 30 bucks, 3m guns runs about 50 bucks
The rustfighter is a watery substance in the bottle. Clean the insides of the doors out with TSP, blow the airgun real good and then set compressor to 35 PSI. 2-3 coats of the watery rustfighter and your done. It will drizzle out the doors and get into every nook and cranny of the door bottom. It puddles up in the seam providing a lifetime seal. Overnight it dries to a beeswax consistancy. There is no bad smell after it dries. Do this before your doors rust, a 1 quart bottle runs about 24 dollars at the body store. You should be able to do 4 door bottoms and both rocker panels. 3m also sells a wand that screw onto the gun that is like 30 inches long. It is plastic and pliable. You blow your rocker panels out with air and then stick the long wand in that sprays 360 degrees, run it in and out a few times and your rockers are protected forever! The excess runs out the holes which proves that all the spot welded seams are getting coated.
Tests on the rustfighter prove that on a bare piece of metal coated in it passed a 1000 hour salt spray test... .
Pics coming soon...
