For the last several months I've had my Water in Fuel light on because I screwed the module in too far on the last filter change and the probes were touching something inside the filter. Seems like a common issue for those of us who insist on making things very tight. You know... . the little extra oomph to make sure it doesn't leak.

I fixed mine for good last week when I changed filters... I ground about 1/16" off each probe. Now they're not grounded. ;) and no light!!!

I do feel kinda lonely now though with no co-pilot.

Can anyone provide specs or links to specs on the BF 1221 vs the Fleetguard FS 1232?

Yes. What would you like to know. There are several filters that will replace the FS1232 filter. One of them is the BF1221.

The BF1221 is a little longer and has a drain valve located in the bottom. It's 4 micron as opposed to 10 I believe. There is another that is the same length as the OEM with a drain valve.

While we're talking filtration....

Is the BF1232 the same 4 micron filtering as the 1221? I currently have the BF1221, but I bought a BF1232 for my glovebox (along with the WIF sensor). Figured the extra capacity wont hurt.
